Jaipur — In a developing story, concerns have been raised regarding the conduct of certain Ernst & Young (EY) officials involved in government-backed projects in Rajasthan. The concerns arise from multiple formal complaints highlighting alleged irregularities in project operations.
One of the key allegations involves Siddharth Dutta, who was associated with the Chief Minister’s Service Delivery Project. Complainants allege that he shared sensitive information with unauthorized parties and attempted to influence financial matters, though these accusations are yet to be substantiated by authorities.
In another complaint, Akhilesh Saurakhia has been accused of holding unofficial negotiations with government officers to gain strategic project advantages. His team member, Aditya Goyal, has also been mentioned in the complaints for allegedly exerting undue pressure on employees of partnering entities.
The Skills Development Department has received separate complaints against Gitesh Gunjan, who is accused of attempting to manipulate tender evaluations. Reports claim that the alleged interference resulted in a significant change—nearly 11 points—in the evaluation score.
Government departments have stated that the truth will emerge only after a detailed inquiry. Meanwhile, civil society groups have intensified their demand for an impartial investigation. EY and the individuals concerned have not responded publicly to the allegations.
