A film on the Inflammable topic of excessive violence and divisive politics
This web film which is being streamed on Namkeen TV deals with the perverse mindset of a section of people who strive to divide people in the country under the guise of religion and spread hatred and hardcore violence and create web of deceipt and intolerance of religions at the cost of universal brotherhood and the urgent need to take the first step to change the prevalent attitude by depicting a real life story which raises many pertinent questions
In the film, which has been inspired by a story of the famous novelist Sadat Hassan Manto which has been set in the current times, Keshav Arya plays Narendra who nurtures nothing but hatred towards people of other religions and believes in looting and killing people wantonly. The film also showcases how some politicians try to provoke the youth for the sake of furthering their own vested interests and lead them astray towards the path of destruction. A twist comes in the plot when a young girl named Sonia (Samaira Khan) enters the life of Narendra and he surrenders his heart to her overnight. The climax of the film will set out to give shock waves to the viewers.
As far as performances in the film are concerned, Keshav Arya has lived to the hilt in the role of Narendra, justifying his look, body language, dialogue delivery and last but not the least his facial expression. Samaira Khan has also infused life into her character with effortless ease.
The film also boasts of a situational song which has been picturised very beautifully.- Aao Na which lingers in your memory. As far as the direction of both Mithlesh Avinash and Rishu Gupta is concerned, both have done their level best as far as their craft is concerned. Effort has also been taken to lend authenticity and realistic touch to the characters. Slicker editing ought to have been there and the running time of the film also ought to have been brought under proper control
Amol Dwivedi who is in the Board of Namkeen TV as a director deserves credit for coming up with an explosive as well as inflammable web film like Pahal Kaun Karega
